Fonality Key Code Reference

PBXtra uses a variety of different key codes to control various functions. The following reference explains each one. 

Code Function 

* (star) Used to exit someone’s outgoing voicemail greeting and return to Main menu. 

8505 Dials into the PBXtra Conference Bridge (Call Center Edition, Professional Edition). 

8506 Dials into the PBXtra Conference Bridge (Call Center Edition, Professional Edition). 

8507 Dials into the PBXtra Conference Bridge (Call Center Edition, Professional Edition). 

8508 Dials into the PBXtra Conference Bridge (Call Center Edition). 

8509 Dials into the PBXtra Conference Bridge (Call Center Edition). 

8555 Check the voicemail for the current extension (follow prompts) 

8500 Check the voicemail for another extension (follow prompts) 

9000 Transfer to this extension to Park calls 

*1 Log into ACD queue from an assigned phone (follow prompts) 

*3 Log out of ACD queue from an assigned phone (follow prompts) 

*5 Check ACD queue login status 

*50 Log into ACD queue and respect call forwarding 

*54 Log into ACD queue (follow prompts). Remember *LI = LOG IN 

*56 Log out of ACD queue (follow prompts). Specifiy “#” as the new extension to log out. Remember *LO = LOG OUT. 

*74+EXT Single extension intercom two-way audio Remember *PG = PAGE 

*74+<GroupExtension> Intercom all of the extensions in a group 

*75+<GroupExtension> Page all of the extensions in a group 

*8 Answer the first ringing line. There is not a way to specify which ringing line to pick up. 

*8# Used from an analog phone to answer the first ringing line. There is not a way to specify which ringing line to pick up. 

*86+EXT Use this key code to transfer a call directly to the voicemail mailbox for the specified extension. Remember *VM = VOICE MAIL.
